in 1936, back then it was spelled Toyoda, the car built was the
Model AA Sedan.
The first Toyoda Truck was the Toyoda
Model G1 Truck
and it was built in 1935.
Since
then millions of Toyota vehicles have been built in dozens of different Toyota

Toyota Motor Corp., (TMC) is
the world's number 2 automaker has said that eventually all its vehicles will
come with hybrid gasoline-electric motors. Due to the record costs for fuel the
demand for hybrid cars trucks and suvs continues to grow, while the demand for
conventional gasoline powered vehicles declines. " In the future, the cars
you see from Toyota will be 100% hybrid" said Executive Vice President Kazuo
Okamoto. However Toyota has not given any time frame for this transition,
but plans to build up to 400,000 gas-electric vehicles during the year 2006.
This number includes Prius, and Camry cars, the
Highlander
Sport-Utility vehicle
and the Coaster buses. This 2006 projection is up 60% from the 2005
target.
